Loretti Dobrescu
Dr. Loretti Isabella Dobrescu is an Early Career Researcher. She received her
PhD in Economics and Management with Honours in September 2009 from University
of Padua (Italy), after spending the whole research period at Boston University
(U.S). In the same month, she was appointed as Lecturer at the Australian School
of Business, University of New South Wales in a full time position. She is active
in the research fields of Microeconometrics, with particular emphasis on Economics
of Ageing, Health Economics and Mathematics. She was part of the backbone team
that developed the first comprehensive dataset of ageing in Europe - SHARE,
being operatively responsible for the “Earnings and Pensions” section
and the development of dataset’s imputation phase.
