Kevin Dowd

Dr Kevin Dowd is Visiting Professor at the Pensions Institute, and has formerly held academic positions at the Universities of Nottingham and Sheffield, and Sheffield Hallam University. His research interests cover financial, monetary and macroeconomics, financial regulation, central banking and free banking, risk management, mortality modelling and pensions. His books include "Competition and Finance: A New Interpretation of Financial and Monetary Economics" (Macmillan, 1996) and "Measuring Market Risk" (second edition, Wiley, 2005).
